My Contributions:

  • UI: My primary responsiblity was to create menus and the HUD.
  • Jump functionality: I got to try out player movement by implementing the jump functionality.

Reflection

This was the first game project at The Game Assembly, as well as the first game I have ever worked on, and it was made in Unity. Prior to TGA I had never even opened the engine, so everything felt very new to me.

A large portion of the project was dedicated to getting to know Unity better, and I got to work on menus, the HUD, and the jump functionality.
